1. Final Days of Early Bird
Early Bird ends midnight 31st May 2021
POWERBOATERS
Take advantage of discounted entry fees – with no entry fee increase since 2019
PADDLERS
In addition to the Early Bird discount, only Paddlers entering during Early Bird may request a race ID.
If you miss out on front grid seeding, remaining paddlers will be gridded in order of entry so entering as early as possible guarantees you a better position.
2. Paddler Seeding Races are Back!
Northam’s Avon Descent Association has partnered with Paddle WA to introduce a whole new paddler seeding competition for the 2021 Avon Descent. Combining some old and some new races, this could be one of the most exciting Avon Descent qualifying seasons we’ve seen yet.
3. Whats New in the Rules?
In addition to paddle seeding, we have introduced a few new rules in 2021 (and 2020) that we thought we would highlight ahead of the event.
4. Act Belong Commit Avon Descent Volunteering
Northam’s Avon Descent Association is proud to partner with Healthway under the Act Belong Commit program in 2021 to announce the Act Belong Commit Avon Descent Volunteering program. With more opportunities for volunteering and greater recognition, it’s more rewarding than ever to get involved.
